The Sangyo University Kyoto (Japanese京都 产业 大学, Kyōto Sangyo daigaku, dt "Industrial Kyoto University ", in short: Sandai (产 大), Kyosan (京 产) or Kyōsandai (京 产 大) ) is a private university in Japan. It is located in Kita- ku, Kyoto, Kyoto Prefecture.

History

The University was established in 1965 by the astronomer Toshima Araki (荒木 俊 马, Toshima Araki, 1897-1978 ) founded. He founded to train the students who have their spiritual foundations in the Japanese tradition and could contribute to the peace and happiness of the people; at that time many Japanese universities by Marxist professors and students have been ruled by force.

The university was opened with two faculties ( Economics and science). She added the faculties with the years, and today it has eight faculties.
