Kyushu Q1W

The Kyushu Tokai Q1W1 was a simple plane structure ( cantilever low- wing monoplane with two radial engines and retractable tail wheel landing gear ), which has been used in World War II for anti-submarine - hunting and maritime surveillance, the Japanese Navy. Some machines were equipped with simple radar and submarine detection equipment. Kyushu Hikoki ( until 1943 Tekkojo Watanabe ) constructed the model in 1942; First flight was in September 1943, putting the beginning of 1944. A total of 143 aircraft were built.
