L'Hôtel

L' Hôtel (English: " The Hotel " ) is a designer upmarket hotel in Paris, capital of France. Previously, it was the Hotel d' Alsace. The hotel was known as the last address of Oscar Wilde, who also died there, and later as a permanent residence by Mistinguett, who set up her room according to your taste, which remained until today (see below) almost unchanged. The popularity of the house later grew through stays of Mata Hari, the actor Katharine Hepburn and Johnny Depp, and the Argentine author Jorge Luis Borges.

The hotel is located 13, rue des Beaux -Arts in Saint- Germain -des- Prés district in the 6th arrondissement. The house was considered a favorite haunt of Parisian Society in the 60s.

Today, designed by designer Jacques Garcia hotel has 20 individually decorated rooms, some yet as the time of the famous guests such as Mistinguett or Mata Hari. A space is also dedicated to Oscar Wilde, his actual death chamber, however, no longer exists. The house is a member of the little hotel composite A Curious Group of Hotels ( aCGH ). The hotel's restaurant was Le (2011) awarded a Michelin star. From the American fashion and lifestyle magazine Harper 's Bazaar, the hotel with the price Best Urban Hotel in the World Award 2008.
