La Barceloneta, Barcelona

La Barceloneta is a lying seaside neighborhood of Barcelona in the district of Ciutat Vella ( Old City), currently with 15,503 inhabitants in an area of 131.4 hectares.

Location

Barceloneta is a peninsula in the south-east of Barcelona, ​​and has given its location right beside the sea about 1,100 meters beach, the Platja de Barceloneta. To the west, the district is limited by the Port Vell, to the east it borders the Olympic Port. In the north of the Parc de la Ciutadella and the Estacio de França train company RENFE and the eponymous metro station is adjacent to the line 4. Foundation
