Belle- Alliance [ bɛl a.ljɑs ] is the name of a former guest house that Napoleon Bonaparte has served as headquarters at the Battle of Waterloo. In the Prussian and German history, the name " Battle of or Belle Alliance " was used until the 20th century. This is due to Blücher, who had already used this name in its reports on 21 June 1815.

Location and History

One finds the building today at the N 5 not far from Plancenoit. On the road from Paris to Brussels, it stands at a crossroads in the middle of the battlefield of Waterloo.
