The Green Planet ( also known as: a visit from the other star) is a socio-critical science-fiction comedy that illuminates the negative aspects of today's lifestyle of the people. " The Green Planet " was released in 1996 under the original French title " La Belle Verte ". The screenplay was written by Coline Serreau, who also plays the lead role himself.

Action

The story begins on a distant planet ( the green planet ), which is inhabited by a highly developed culture, with nature living in perfect harmony with the picturesque landscapes and certain disciplines, such as telepathy exercises. At a meeting is found that in 200 years no one voluntarily wants to fly to the earth, as the company is there extremely backward. Finally, but a woman named Mila decides to visit Earth.
