La Blanqueada

La Blanqueada is a neighborhood ( barrio ) of the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo.

Location

It is located north of the city center in the central south of the department of Montevideo. La Blanqueada borders it to the south by the district Parque Batlle situated therein, Villa Dolores. Southwest is the area of ​​Tres Cruces. In the northwest Larrañaga closes, while in the northeast Unión continues the urban area.

History
