La Destrousse

La Destrousse is a commune with 3013 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Bouches -du -Rhône in the Provence- Alpes- Côte d' Azur.

Geography

The community is located 22 km from Aix -en- Provence and ten kilometers from Aubagne. Neighboring towns are Peypin (two miles), Auriol (two miles), La bouilladisse ( two kilometers ) and Cadolive (ten km). The municipality is part of the Communauté d' Aubagne et de Pays d' agglomà l' Étoile.

The municipality has the shape of a triangle. The place is located almost in the center of the village.

History

The local church was renovated in 1834 and consecrated in 1872.

The municipal area is a driveway Pas de Trets located to the A52. About this highway Marseille is reached in 25 minutes and Aix -en- Provence in 20 minutes.
