The strategy of the screw is a published 1993 Colombian tragicomedy.

Action

In the old quarter of the Colombian capital Bogotá a house is cleared and its inhabitants are put on the road. Among the inhabitants are of the old anarchist Jacinto, the lawyer without approval Romero, the transvestite Gabriel, a young revolutionary and an old woman with her seriously ill husband. While Romero tries to delay the inevitable eviction by legal tricks, Don Jacinto developed the "Strategy of the Snail". With scaffolding and hoists the residents bring the entire inventory and even walls and floors of the house secretly in a vacant house next door. Several times Romero has to resort to his legal tricks to buy time for the residents. That is why he is attacked and beaten by thugs of the owner. Nevertheless, it is possible the inhabitants to completely remove seeds the house shortly before the evacuation. When the police is at the door, they transport the last remaining houses - except for the front facade - with cars and trucks to an estate outside the city. From the original building is nothing more left than the facade that brings Jacinto at the moment when the house is to be stormed with dynamite to collapse. The facade falls apart and gives the owner and the police to reveal a painted on a wall image of the house.
