La India ( born March 9, 1970 in Río Piedras / Puerto Rico), Linda Viera Caballero actually, also known as " La Princesa de la Salsa", is a Puerto Rican salsa singer.

Career

La India was born in Rio Piedras / Puerto Rico. Shortly after her birth her ​​parents immigrated to the U.S. and settled in the South Bronx.
