La Libre Belgique

La Libre Belgique ( free Belgium ) is a Belgian daily newspaper founded in 1915 in French. It is one of the most widely read in Belgium and found in all three regions about the same sales ( 43.5 % in Wallonia, 30 % in Flanders and 26 % in Brussels).

The newspaper is considered to be conservative Intelligenzblatt. Until 1999, she was very strongly oriented Catholic. The proportion of readers from the upper middle class, with 15.7% very high compared to other French language newspapers such as Le Soir ( 6.3%).

La Libre Belgique offers six different regional parts: La Libre Belgique Brabant Wallon in the province of Walloon Brabant, La Libre Belgique Flandre in the Flemish region, La Libre Belgique Gazette de Liège in the province of Liège, La Libre Belgique Hainaut in the province of Hainaut and La Libre Belgique Namur -Luxembourg in the provinces of Namur and Luxembourg.
