Lá Nua

Lá Nua ( de: New Day ) was an Irish-language daily newspaper. It was the first newspaper to write her products exclusively in the Irish language. Lá Nua belonged to the publisher Belfast Media Group.

In the 80s, the newspaper became a frequently consumed medium, which led to an increase of the page size. Furthermore, the newspaper had an active website and had a print run of several thousand copies.

Lá Nua had five publishers: Gearóid Ó Ó Néill Eoghan and Cairealláin, Ciarán Ó Pronntaigh, Concubhar Ó Liatháin and finally Dónall Mac Giolla Chóill.

In October 2008, the setting of the newspaper was announced at the end of the year and on 19 December 2008 published the latest edition of Lá Nua.
