La Provence

La Provence is a French newspaper that belongs to Groupe Hersant Média.

The newspaper was founded in 1997 as a fusion of the newspapers Le Provençal and Le Méridonal, both of which were founded in 1944. Le Provençal was the successor to the pre-war newspaper newspaper Le Petit Provençal. In the three departments of Vaucluse, Bouches -du- Rhone and Alpes- de -Haute -Provence, the newspaper is sold. Of the 180,000 copies sold 35,000 subscriptions.
