La Puente is a city in the U.S. state of California, United States, with 42,400 inhabitants ( 2004).

History

Its history starts coming 1841, when European settlers, from New Mexico, the " Rancho La Puente " founded.

The city was known by the largest Walnußfabrik the world. Today still remember some museums such as the " Workman Museum " and the " Temple Family Homestead Museum " to the history of the place.

Famous residents

The Mexican women's soccer national player Renae Cuellar lives in La Puente.
