La Roche-Posay
La Roche- Posay is a French municipality with 1562 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Vienne in the Poitou -Charentes; it belongs to the district Chatellerault and Canton Pleumartin.
Location
La Roche- Posay is located about 20 kilometers from Chatellerault, on the banks of the Creuse. In the municipality the Gartempe opens into the Creuse. Neighboring communities of La Roche- Posay are: Leigné -les -Bois in the West, Coussay -les -Bois in the northwest, Lésigny in the north, Yzeures -sur -Creuse in the east, Vicq -sur -Gartempe in the south, Pleumartin in the southwest.
