La Sola Island

La Sola (Spanish: Isla La Sola ) is a small, uninhabited rocky island in the Caribbean Sea, about 370 km north-east of Caracas, capital of Venezuela, and located 37 km north of Isla Margarita. Geographically, the island is one of the Windward Islands, politically to the Venezuelan Dependencias Federales ( Federal Territories ).
La Sola has a land area of only 0.01 square kilometers and reaches a maximum height of 8.5 m above the sea. Other neighboring islands are Los Frailes, 21 km south-west, as well as Los Testigos, 55 km northwest of the town.
