La Tigresa del Oriente

Juana Judith Bustos ( born November 22, 1944 in Constancia, Departamento de Loreto, Peru), known as La Tigresa del Oriente (Eng. The Tigress of the East ), is a Peruvian singer, actress, beautician and hairdresser.

Life

Bustos was born in the village of Constancia in Departamento de Loreto ( Peru). It is the fifth daughter of sixteen siblings. Her father came from Manaus and their mother from Loreto. At the age of ten she had her first experience in a competition as a singer. When she was 12 years old, she moved to Lima in order to finance their education as a beautician, she worked as a cleaning woman. At age 18 she married, but soon their marriage was divorced. Musical career

1999-2006

With the help of Mario Poggi she began to write songs. Then she founded with Elizabeth Alegría and Aracely the group " Las Tigresas ". Due to various difficulties, the group had to disband.
