La Toma, San Luis

La Toma or Cuatro de Julio is the capital of the department of Coronel Pringles in the province of San Luis in the west of Argentina. It is a mining center and is called the capital of the onyx stone ( Capital de la piedra Ónix ), because it will be processed in the workshops of the town to craft jewels.

History

La Toma was established in 1905 in connection with the arrival of the railway line.

Attractions
