La Tour-du-Pin

La Tour- du-Pin is a French town with 7931 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the valley of the river Bourbre in the department of Isère, in the Rhône -Alpes. It is located between Lyon, Chambery and Grenoble at the Highway 43 (Lyon - Chambéry ) and on the railway line connecting these cities. The city is the capital of the canton of the same; the mayor Maurice Durand.

House La Tour -du-Pin

La Tour- du-Pin is the headquarters of La Tour- du-Pin family, the Dauphin of Viennois presented in the first half of the 14th century (and not to be confused with the La Tour d' Auvergne ).
