La Tribune

La Tribune is a French daily newspaper with the topics of business and finance. It was founded on 15 January 1985 under the name of La Tribune de l' économie from the publisher AGEFI, in February 2008 it belongs to News Participations. Since the issue dated 31 January 2012, she appears exclusively online.

History

After the founding of the newspaper in 1985, she moved in 1988 for the first time the owner and was from then on sold under the name La Tribune de l' expansion from the publisher L'Expansion. 1992 changes for the second time the name: After the merger with the newspaper La Cote Desfossés it appears new as La Tribune Desfossés. The following year, the luxury goods maker Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton acquired (LVMH ), the Desfossés International Publishing Group, whereupon the newspaper gets its current name La Tribune. In February 2008, La Tribune, is sold to News Participations, a holding company of Alain Weill. In the same period, the purchase of the business newspaper Les Echos rival LVMH falls.

On 30 January 2012, the last printed edition of the newspaper was published. According to France Soir La Tribune is the second French daily newspaper of general circulation, which is only to re-read online for subscribers. At the same time the sheet to France Economie Régions ( FER ) and the Internet group Hi-Media was sold. In the restructuring, 50 of 165 employees will keep their jobs, including 31 journalists. The reason for the realignment of the newspaper crisis and the loss of advertising income to growing importance of the Internet are named for the dissemination of information.
