Laag

Laag (Italian: Laghetti; South Tyrolean LAG) is a fraction of the municipality of Neumarkt in the south of South Tyrol (Italy).

Laag is located between the main town and the neighboring town of Neumarkt Salurn, approximately 6 km south of Neumarkt and 5.5 km to the north of Salorno. To Laag also includes the hamlet of St. Florian and the Pilgerhospitz Klösterle. At Freedom Square is a stone court, which presumably comes from the Lombard

In Laag there are three churches (next to the parish church to the Immaculate Conception there are the smaller churches of St. Lawrence and the St. Florian ), two kindergartens, two primary schools (both in German and Italian language of instruction ) and a multipurpose hall.

Laag is located on the burner state road, which is called in the village of Empire Road ( Strada Nazionale ).
