Labadee

Labadee ( Labadie French ) is a peninsula with a harbor in Haiti, about ten kilometers north-west of Cap- Haïtien, Nord department (5 miles west). The village is located about 200 km as the crow from the capital Port -au -Prince on the north coast of Hispaniola.

The Royal Caribbean Cruises has leased an area in Labadee and runs this private beach, which is protected by fences and security forces. Each year, about one million cruise passengers to swim.

After the devastating earthquake on 12 January 2010, the company has offered the use of the port of landing for supplies / released.
