Labarna († about 1565 BC ( short chronology ) and 1625 (middle chronology ) ) was the Hittite Great King.

His identity is still unknown, because it is not sure whether Labarna was his name or title. For a time he was equated with Hattusili I.. In the description of the early years of the Labarna there is, however, the sentence: " The country was little."

As Labarna died about 1565 BC, therefore, was Hattusili I, the nephew of Tawananna (Great Queen ) Great King, which could indicate irregularities in the line of succession, as none of Labarnas seven sons became emperor.
