Labhrás Ó Murchú

Labhrás Ó Murchu is an Irish politician ( Fianna Fáil ), Director General of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Éireann, Chairman of the Irish Family History Foundation, and Chairman of Fondúireacht to Phiarsaigh.

Ó Murchu was for the Fianna Fáil Seanad Éireann elected to the first time in 1997. In the years 2002 and 2007 was his re-election. In July 2010, he met with John Hanafin and Jim Walsh in protest against the Civil Partnership Bill the Government of the Fianna Fáil. Back in November of the same year began, the three back into the party.
