Labinot Haliti

Labinot Haliti (born 26 October 1985 in Pristina ) is an Albanian- Australian footballer of Kosovar origin. His position is as an attacking midfielder.

Life

His childhood was spent Labinot first in Kosovo. With the beginning of the Kosovo war in 1999, he left with his family fled the country and the Australian Sydney.

Career

Haliti was by Frank Arok, a Serbian Hungarian origin, the celebrated great successes as a coach in Australia, discovered and promoted. For Sydney Olympic and Sydney United Haliti played in the National Soccer League up to the cessation of 2004. 2005 he signed for the Newcastle United Jets a contract for the newly formed professional league A-League.

In summer 2007, he joined the Croatian first division side NK Slaven Belupo, but he left again after only one month. He then came under in Albania at KS Teuta Durres, in the winter break, he joined the Polish club Łódzki KS. After the Łódź League license was revoked for season 2009/10 Haliti left the club in the summer of 2009 and signed a contract with his former club Newcastle Jets.
