Labor Party (Mexico)

The Partido del Trabajo ( Labour Party, PT) is a Mexican party who has Maoist roots and stands up for democratic socialism. Since the founding of December 8, 1990 Alberto Anaya was the only party executive.

In the presidential elections of 2006, PT joined together with the PRD and Convergencia as Coalition Por el Bien de Todos and fell just short of the victory.
