Lac de Cleuson

Lac de Cleuson is a reservoir in the area of ​​Nendaz ( District Conthey ) in the Swiss Canton of Valais (French: Valais). It is located at 2186 m above sea level. M. and flows through the Printse which opens into the Rhone.

Dam

The gravity dam was built from 1947 to 1949. The wall is 87 meters high, the crown 420 meters long. The storage volume is about 20 million cubic meters, the lake surface covers about 0.50 km ². The lake serves as a balancing reservoir and is it connected via adits with the Lac des Dix, the maximum flow rate is 2.2 cubic meters per second.
