Lac de Moron

The Lac de Moron is a reservoir in the Jura on the border between Switzerland and France. The lake takes its beginning from Saut du Doubs, an imposing 27 -foot waterfall and has a striking greenish color.

You can reach the dam on foot from the French side of the village of Le Barboux, which is located in the department of Doubs. On the Swiss side can reach the reservoir through the villages of Les Brenets, Le Locle and Les Planchettes.

History

The dam was completed in 1953 Châtelot.
