Lac de Villefort

The Lac de Villefort is a reservoir of the river Altier in the French region of Languedoc -Roussillon. It is located in the Cevennes, 40 kilometers east of Mende. The village Villefort is directly south of the lake.

The lake is mainly used for power generation. He is also a popular recreational area. The Cevennenbahn crosses the lake.
