The Laclede County is a county located in the U.S. state of Missouri. In 2010, the County had 35 571 inhabitants and a population density of 17.9 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Lebanon.
Geography
The County is located just south of the geographical center of Missouri in the Ozarks. It has an area of 1989 square kilometers, of which 6 square kilometers is water area. At the Laclede County borders the following Nachbarcountys:
History
The Laclede County was formed in 1849. It was named after Pierre Laclede (1729-1778), founder of the city of St. Louis.

According to the census in 2010 lived in Laclede County 35 571 people in 14,352 households. The population density was 17.9 inhabitants per square kilometer. In the 14,352 households lived statistically 2.44 per person.
