Laconnex is a municipality in the canton of Geneva in Switzerland.

Geography

The Laconnésiens live between Bernex and Avusy south of the Rhône.

History

After the incorporation of Laconnex in the Canton of Geneva in 1816 Laconnex was part of the community Avusy - Laconnex - Soral. 1847 Avusy separated from Laconnex - Soral before Laconnex 1850 was a separate municipality.
