Lacroix (crater)

Lacroix is an impact crater on the western edge of the lunar front side, north of the Wall Schickard level. The rim is moderately eroded. In the southeast it is overshadowed by the secondary craters Lacroix J. The crater interior is largely flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the French mathematician Sylvestre Lacroix.
