Lacus Perseverantiae

Lacus Perseverantiae - Latin for sea endurance - is a solidified lava lake on the moon, of the larger Maria similar to that of the emergence ago. The term has been defined by the International Astronomical Union in 1979.

The small sea surface has an average diameter of 70 km and is located in the east of erdzugewandten side of the moon at the selenographic coordinates 8 degrees north and 62 degrees east.
