LADE

Lineas Aéreas del Estado ( LADE short ) is a public Argentinean regional airline based in Buenos Aires. It is part of the Argentine Air Force, the Fuerza Aérea Argentina.

History

In 1940, the Argentine government founded the airline Lineas Aéreas del Sudoeste ( LASE ​​) to open up remote villages of Argentina on passenger, freight and mail services. On 4 September the same year the first flight between the military airfield El Palomar near Buenos Aires and Esquel was performed. In the following years Lineas Aéreas del Noreste ( LANE ) was established, connecting from the January 6, 1944 Buenos Aires to Puerto Iguazú. On October 23, 1944 both lines were pooled for today Lineas Aéreas del Estado ( LADE ).

Destinations

DOWNLOAD mainly offers flights within Patagonia. Here also many small cities are covered in sightseeing flights that would not be otherwise accessible from the air.

Between 1972 and 1982 offered CHARGE of flights between Comodoro Rivadavia and the Falkland Islands, but were discontinued after the Falklands War.
