Ladislav Kohn

Ladislav Kohn ( born March 4, 1975 in Uherské Hradiště, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech ice hockey player who is under contract with HC České Budějovice in the Czech Extraliga since October 2012.

Career

Ladislav Kohn began his career with Poldi Kladno, for whom he made ​​his debut in the season 1992/93 in the top division of the Czechoslovak Federation. In 1993 he decided to take a move to North America and played two years in the Western Hockey League. During the NHL Entry Draft in 1994 he was selected by the Calgary Flames in the seventh round in a total of 175 point. In the season 1995/96 he first played in the Flames farm team, the Saint John Flames in the AHL, but also came to five appearances in the National Hockey League. In the following two years, he continued to play for Saint John, before he was transferred in July 1998 to the Toronto Maple Leafs, who submitted to Calgary in return David Cooper. For the Maple Leafs, he completed a total of 18 NHL games, but otherwise went further in the AHL on the ice.

Other stations in North America were the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, Atlanta Thrashers, Detroit Red Wings and the Calgary Flames again. The season 2001/ 02 he spent in Finland Espoo Blues of the SM- liiga. Thither he returned to his last coaching back at the Flames in 2003 and played there until 2007. In summer 2007, he joined the Russian Super league club HK CSKA Moscow. Internationally

Ladislav Kohn took part in the U18 European Junior Championships in 1993 and the Junior World Championship in 1995 as a junior player. Only in 2008 he was called back to the Czech national ice hockey team and played for this Ice Hockey World Championship for Men 2008.
