Ladoix-Serrigny

The community Ladoix -Serrigny with 1836 inhabitants ( 1 January 2011) in the region of Burgundy ( Bourgogne ), Côte-d'Or department in France, with its chapel of Notre -Dame- du- Chemin from the 12th century was for many centuries the goal of pilgrims. Situated at an altitude of 217 meters on the National Road 74 between Beaune and Nuits -Saint -Georges is Ladoix -Serrigny now a well known wine-growing.

Viticulture in Ladoix -Serrigny

Ladoix -Serrigny is the northernmost part of the area Côte de Beaune and has since 11 March 1938, the status of an Appellation d' Origine ( AOC short ). The community has, among others, a share of the Mountain Corton.

Are produced in small quantities Corton Corton -Charlemagne Grand Cru and Grand Crus.
