Laetare Sunday

Laetare (Latin laetare " Rejoice !") Is named after the initial word of the Introit in the Roman Catholic and Lutheran Liturgy 4th Sunday of Lent.

" Laetare Jerusalem: et omnes qui Conventum facite diligitis eam: gaudete cum laetitia, qui in tristitia fuistis: ut exsultetis, et satiemini from uberibus consolationis vestrae. "

The Laetare Sunday is in the middle of Lent ( Mid-Lent ) and has a more cheerful, comforting character.
