Lafofa is an endangered Niger -Congo language of kordofanischen sub-group, which is spoken by only 600 people in the Nuba Mountains in Kordofan in Sudan.

It is also the sole representative of Talodi - Tegem subgroup.

There are several dialects of the language: Jebel el Amira ( Amira el ), Jebel Tekeim ( Jebel, Tekeim, Tegem ) and Lafofa.
