The hydropower plant Laforge -1 (French Centrale Laforge -1 ) is a storage power plant in the Canadian province of Québec. It is located in the region Jamesie at Rivière Laforge, a tributary of the La Grande Rivière.

The power plant is part of the James Bay hydroelectric project. It is fed by the Réservoir Laforge -1 and has six Francis turbines. The installed capacity of generators is 878 MW, the drop height of 57.3 meters. Operators of the power plant is the Société d' énergie de la Baie James, a subsidiary of the state-owned power utility Hydro-Québec.

Construction on the power plant Laforge -1 began in 1989, the plant was commissioned in 1994. Featuring a 42 -km long access road that is not open to private vehicles, leads south to Highway Route Transtaïga.
