Lago di Levico

The Lago di Levico ( German: Levico; old German name: Löweneckersee ) is a lake in Valsugana in Trentino, Italy, east of Trento.

Capital is the spa town of Levico Terme to the thermal Palazzo delle Terme and beach at the southeastern end of the lake. The rest of steep, wooded slopes surrounded, 440 m above sea lake is almost untapped. Just two kilometers to the west is the larger Caldonazzo.

The lake is characterized by the excellent quality of water. At the northern end of the lake ( already belongs to the neighboring town Pergine Valsugana ) to confront an impressive flora and fauna in the steep woods.
