Lago di Santa Giustina

The Santa Giustina Dam in Val di Non in Trentino in Italy jams on the Noce from Santa Giustina Lake (Lago di Santa Giustina ). The dam ( an arch dam ) was built in 1946-1950 and inaugurated in 1951. In its construction it was with a total height of 152.50 m, the highest dam in Europe and it is still one of the major dams of the earth.

The dam was built for the purpose of energy production. The planning engineer was Claudio Marcello. It belongs to the energy company Edison SpA
