Lai da Nalps

The Lai da Nalps is a reservoir in Val Nalps in the Grisons in the town of Sedrun. It forms with the reservoirs Lai da Sontga Maria and Lai da Curnera that lie in adjacent valleys, a single continuous tube through water management system.

You can reach the reservoir from the Vorderrheintal. Last major town is Sedrun. From this village leads in a southerly direction a mountain road to the lake, which is, however, subject to a general ban.

In winter, the road is not maintained, therefore, can be reached from approximately December to May the weir Nalps only with a private cable car up to the intermediate station until October Tgom is open for all of July (winter upon order).

The dam is monitored automatically by a system of stationary lasers and reflectors.
