Laie Hawaii Temple

The Lai'e - Hawai'i Temple was the fifth temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by now over 100 world It was built on the site of a former sugar cane plantation, which was acquired in 1865. To build local materials were used. The temple ( in the photo background) should be similar in appearance to the Temple of Solomon, to the extent that this still can be reconstructed today.
