Lajna Imaillah

The Lajna Imaillah ( Urdu لجنہاماءالله Ladschnah Imaillah, Association of the Servants of Allah ') is the agency of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat for women. It was founded in 1922 by Mirza Bashir ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad on the suggestion of his wife in India as an important step towards the emancipation of Muslim women. The Lajna Imaillah is represented in Germany with about 10,000 women and was founded in 1975. Its members are called Lajna.

Organization

Member is any Ahmadifrau. Members under 15 years old are called Nasirat.

Motto

No nation can make progress without making their women.

Activities

Internally, Lajna Imaillah uses for the formation and organization of women and girls, the girls who Nasratul Ahmadiyya ( 7-14 years ) received religious instruction and excursions or trips abroad.

In addition, donates the Lajna Imaillah financial resources to build schools and hospitals, especially in Africa.

The Lajnas lecture in schools, in universities and in other (including their own ) events about Islam and work independently as well as volunteer in all areas of men.

In Germany enter the Ahmadifrauen out the magazine Nuur for women and contribute significantly to work with the Community's own TV program Muslim Television Ahmadiyya (MTA ).

Mrs. Guest House

On the initiative of Ahmadifrauen a woman guest house is built with six residential units on the site of Noor Mosque. It is designed to provide women in need support in a " Islamic- oriented environment ." In addition, it should also be used " as a guest house, a meeting point for excursions and sports ."

Mosque

With nationwide fund-raising, the Lajna Imaillah Germany has set the task of financing the construction of the Khadija Mosque [A 1] in Berlin. In the twenties, a corresponding plan had failed, so that the donations were eventually used for the Fazl Mosque in London.

Ahmadiyya women also participate in the planning of the mosques. Thus, the Khadija Mosque in Heiner village is built according to the design of architect Mubashra Ilyas who had already played at mosque designs in Stuhr near Bremen and Offenbach am Main.
