Lake Abant Nature Park

The Abant Gölü ( Abant Lake), located 34 kilometers southwest of the Turkish city of Bolu. The lake is located in a tree- spruce and pine natural park. The height above sea level is 1350 meters. The area is 125 acres and the deepest point is 18 meters. In the water trout that are mentioned in the literature as Salmo trutta abanticus live. The lake is fed by some sources, 2-3 inflowing streams and especially of melt water and precipitation. In the environment of the lake hotel and restaurant facilities are established.
