Lake County (South Dakota)
Lake County is a county located in the state of South Dakota in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Madison.
Geography
The county has an area of 1,489 square kilometers; of which 31 square kilometers (2.06 percent) of water. It is bordered clockwise to the Counties Brookings County in the northeast, Moody County, Minnehaha County, McCook County, Miner County and the Kingsbury County in the northwest.
