Lake Evans (Quebec)

Lac Evans is a lake in the Regional County Municipality in the administrative region of Northern Jamesie -du -Québec of the Canadian province of Quebec.

He has a water surface of 475 km ² and a total area of 547 square kilometers including islands. The lake is located about 130 km south-east of James Bay in a marshy landscape. The lake is drained by the river Rivière Broad back. Other tributaries are the Rivière Theodat, which drains the eastern Lac Le Gardeur, and the yoke Pastukamau which forms the outlet of the westerly lake Lac Dana.

Canoeists, the lake is a term due to its difficult portage over the Longue Pointe Peninsula.
