Lake Guinas

The Guinassee ( also English Lake Guinas ) is a 140 × 70 meters high and 132 meters deep karstic lake in Guinas, Northern Namibia. It is Namibia's largest constantly filled with water and lake Zwillingssee of 15 km distant Lake Otjikoto. However, the presumption that he is connected to it by one to still unexplored caves underground water system, has so far not been established.

The Guinassee was formerly used by a still existing steam pumping station to supply water to the nearby town of Tsumeb.
