Lake Iseo

Lake Iseo ( Lago d' Iseo or Sebino Italian ) is the fourth largest of the Italian lakes. It is situated in the Lombard provinces of Brescia and Bergamo.

The lake is located about 20 km northwest of Brescia, at the foot of the Bergamo Alps and the Adamello - Presanella Alps. The lake basin has been eroded by the glacial glaciers of Valcamonica Valley. The River Oglio feeds the lake.

The 65.3 km ² lake is situated at an altitude of 181 m asl, 25 km long and up to 251 m deep. In the lake the island of Monte Isola ( " island mountain"), the largest island in an Italian inland waters, as well as two smaller islands, Isola di Loreto Isola di S. Paolo is. Isola di S.
