The Orivesi is a lake in southeastern Finland. With an area of ​​601.3 km ², it is the seventh largest in the country. Orivesi is a major basin of the Saimaa lake system. The lake has several islands. The Paasselkä forms its southwestern part. The Pyhäselkä lies in the northeast. About a Sund at Savonranta the Orivesi is connected to the Haukivesi.
